The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering has organized a Group Discussion Round-II on the “Role of Technology in Today’s World” for the students of B. Tech (Second to Final year) on 25 April 2024.
Technology plays a pivotal role in driving progress and innovation across various sectors. From healthcare and education to business and entertainment, technological advancements have revolutionized the way we live and interact with the world. The widespread adoption of digital technologies has facilitated globalization, enabling seamless communication and collaboration on a global scale.
Group discussions promote a deeper understanding of a topic and increase long-term retention. Group discussions can also help increase participants’ attention and help maintain their focus by involving them in the learning process. It enhances the confidence of students in public speaking placements as well as the development of their soft skills so that they get prepared for their group discussion round test in the campus recruitment process. Students discussed the benefits of technology.
Outcome :
Outcomes of a Group Discussion on the role of technology in today’s world are likely to contribute to a more informed, nuanced, and inclusive understanding of the opportunities and challenges presented by technology in contemporary society.
The session helps the students gain the confidence to put their views in front of others.
