Brief description / remarks:The Faculty of Life Sciences, Mandsaur University had organized an guest lecture on “Brief Information and Future Prospects about Pharmaceutical Industry” for the UG and PG students on 11 December, 2021. The main objective of the adjunct lecture was to bridging the gap between industry need and student present status. Prof. (Dr.) Arunava Das, Dean and Head of Faculty of Life Sciences formally welcomed and introduced the guest to the participants. During the lecture Mr. Vaibhav Kikani, who has been working in the pharma field for the last 13 years emphasized the need of Pharmaceutical Industry and students should have exposure to current best practices by updating themselves as much as possible. Mr. Vaibhav Kikani also talked about various domain of pharmaceutical industry, where Life science graduates would get placed. The event concluded successfully with a vote of thanks by Prof. (Dr.) Arunava Das, Dean and Head, Faculty of Life Sciences.
Outcome: This Guest lecture provided a detail information about Pharmaceutical Industry. At the end the guest speaker answered all the questions raised by the participants. The students found the lecture very interested and informative.
