Workshop on Solar Lamp Assembling

Under the scheme of Gandhi Global Solar Yatra (GGSY), the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering organized a workshop on ‘Solar Lamp Assembling’ under the guidance of IIT BOMBAY for the students of EEE department (all students) & Mechanical department (Diploma -III semester students). In the workshop, the students learned about the need of renewable sources of energy, its types, solar energy and its conversion, PCB connection, process of soldering, working of solar lamp and the future scope of renewable sources of energy.
