Guest Lecture on Operation Research & Amp SCM

Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a guest lecture on  the subject: Operation Research & SCM  on  09th and 10th  September’16 by Dr.A.C.Shukla ,Prof UEC, Ujjain (Ph.D from IIT Delhi) (Ex Indian Air Force officer Flight Leiutenant )

The Guest Lecture program was organized for: B.E. VII sem. Mechanical Engineering students.

During his 02 days programme, he covered a vast area in Operation Research.

He defines the importance of Supply Chain management that how Organizations increasingly find that they must rely on effective supply chains, or networks, to compete in the global market and networked economy. He discussed about the productivity benefited considerably from technological inventions and division of labour, the problem of systematic measurement of performances and the calculation of these by the use of remained somewhat explored. Operations strategy concerns policies and plans of use of the firm productive resources with the aim of supporting long term competitive strategy.
