Brief description/ Remarks:
Department of Mechanical engineering and robotics club organised a “Hands on session “for Student to Break the ice with Drone Technology by learning concepts and applications of drone by enjoying the hands-on experience. The focus of this training is to give students a hands-on experience on Drone construction and flying that are used in industries involved in Drones, Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality. Understanding the need of the students to start from basics
Outcome:
· Definition and Uses of Drones
· Aerodynamics: Explanation of forces and axes involved in flying
· Understanding of forces of flight
· Equilibrium: Understanding stable and unstable systems
· Sensors: Accelerometer, Gyro Sensor, Barometer and magnetometer
· Motors: How motors work
· Propellers: What type of propeller we are using and it affects flying
· Building Pluto Drone on your own
· Flying Training
