Title: “Fashion Exhibition”

Brief description/ Remarks:
Department of Fashion Design organised “Fashion Exhibition” in the event “MU MUNTHON, 2022” on 29/5/2022 i.e. Sunday for which the timing was from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
In the event students of fashion designing displayed the articles for display in Jaora. Where everyone admired as well as ordered the product and even customization of products had been provided. Students did put their articles and designs for display as well as sale. Where different products of following categories were displayed:- Garment of Upper torso & lower torso, Accessories which you wear, you carry & accessories you detach which is known as detachable accessories , Articles made by waste materials, Paper mesh products Home décor and many more stylized draping from saree. Students draped the dummy in different draping styling for the day.
For this event 6 students from each semester were selected who went to Jaora for the exhibition.
Outcome:
- Effective way of building up confidence amongst students.
- Understanding of the basics concepts of the market demand and supply chain management.
- Exposure of working in team and its importance.
- Understanding of the client psychologically.
- Practical implementation of visual display.
- Customer handling & management.
- Minute aspects of Marketing and Sales.
