Brief description / remarks:

Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mandsaur University has organized A lecture series by Dr.  Amitanshu Pattanaik on “Emerging Research and Technologies in DRDO – Special focus on Recent developed Products & Services” on 28-29 April 2022.  Dr. Pattanaik addressed students from various disciples such as B. TECH EEE, CSE, Civil, Mechanical and other streams like B. Pharma, Agriculture, and Life Science. 

He covered topics like various emerging technologies and research scopes for under graduate students. He showed video clippings and interacted with students. He briefed about genesis of DRDO and its vision and mission. Various products like Missile systems, aeronautical products like, Tejas, Radar, Drone Systems, Life Science products. Apart from this, he explained how under-graduate and diploma students can get through various DRDO recruitment process and how they can get internship.

In last session, he address faculty of university and explain them various important   parameters required for research project funding applications, and some major thrust areas, where funding applications can be made.

Outcome:  Students learned about various products like Missile systems, aeronautical products like, Tejas, Radar, Drone Systems, Life Science products. Faculty learned about important   parameters required for research project funding applications.

No. of participants: 305 students and more than 55 Faculty members.
