Workshop on Fabric Styling

Department of Fashion Design conducted a workshop on Fabric Styling for the students of the second year from 20 to 24 November 2017. The workshop was taken by Prof. Shveta Anugrah, who is presently working in SDPS College, Indore. She has more than 4 years of experience in fashion industry. She also worked as the fashion stylist for famous serial like “Crime petrol”, “Savdhan India” and many more.

The workshop imparted the knowledge and skills required to prepare garments with different design and techniques which helps them to become future stylists in a number of diverse fields such as fabric styling, photo styling, film styling etc. Students prepared garments as the final product which includes the designing part of their fabric style.Students learned the role of fabric in fashion, fabric design, styling, thematic design and designing a mood board with Photoshop.
