Brief description / remarks:-
Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering had organized a workshop on “IoT Technology” for student & faculty of Mandsaur University from 13.05.2022 to 14.05.2022 for Two days. The schedule of the workshop was as follows:

The objective of this workshop was to acquaint the students & faculty members with three different controllers i.e. Arduino, Node MCU & Raspberry pi so that it will be helpful for them to prepare IoT-based projects.
Mr. Abhigynam Giri, Head trainer, Indeyes InfoTech Pvt. Ltd., Bhopal was the trainer of this workshop.
Total 50 students and faculty members from Mandsaur university had registered for this workshop.
The workshop was started with a welcome address and introduction of the trainer by Mr. Siddheswar Kar, Assistant Professor, EEE Department.
The course content which was covered by Mr. Abhigynam Giri in this two days’ workshop is as follows:
Day: -1 Introduction to Arduino, Installation of Arduino IDE, Programming skill using PYTHON, Types of sensors, About Bluetooth module, relay, motors, switches and preparation of different projects using components such as LED, sensors, relay, motor, switches and on Bluetooth.
Day: -2 Introduction to Node MCU & Raspberry pi, Introduction to Blynk cloud platform, WiFi connectivity with cloud and module, Preparation of projects using a mobile phone, Blynk cloud, and various peripherals like relay, sensor, motor & LED.
The workshop ended on 14.05.2022 with the photo session, certificate distribution, and vote of thanks.
Outcome :- The outcomes of this workshop are as follows:
1. Participants understood python programming and improved their programming writing skills.
2. They got acquainted with three different controllers which will be very helpful for them to prepare projects on IoT.
3. Participants learned the skill of connecting Node MCU to the internet cloud.
4. Participants in these 2 days practiced various projects on IoT using the internet and without the internet, which will be very helpful for them.
