Orientation Program

Mandsaur University organized an Orientation Program for first year students on 23-24 August 2018. The new entrants were welcomed by senior students (second year). The main speaker of the session was Dr. Shailendra Sharma, Vice chancellor, Mandsaur University.

The orientation program is designed to support new students as they begin their journey. During the course of the program, we gradually introduced new students to life at the college, from academics and community norms to resources and support services. In departmental level induction program, they were introduced to the academic rules, regulations, lectures, faculties and teaching perspective of their respective department. Orientation program was a formal introduction of first year students to the protocols, mission & vision, curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities of the university.

The program was started with musical skit by students of second year, in which they illustrated student’s journey from last year of school to last day of college and ultimately ending with placement. That was an emotional cum motivational performance. After that Dr. Shailendra Sharma explained the academic atmosphere of university as well as the difference in school education and college education. He highlighted the key points that include infrastructure, centralized facilities, CRISP, NSS and AARAMBH and AAROHAN. He also delivered information regarding curricular, co curricular, extracurricular activities, major achievements and placement of university. After that a student from second year shared the thoughts of transformation that she is experiencing after completion of first year. The program was ended with a motivational dance performance by students of second year. Total 426 students participated in the program.
