ORIENTATION PROGRAM (AARAMBH)
PROGRAM OBJECTIVE :- Mandsaur University takes this initiative to commence every session with the orientation program of first year students. The University believes that nurturing young minds in the genesis will help them grow more efficiently and effectively in their academic session, curricular & co-curricular activities.
The orientation program began on 29 August 2022 to 07 September 2022. The schedule as below, The program was in three session for each batch. The Batch and Session details as follows :-

DOAA (Dr. Shailendra Sharma):-
The Dean of Academic Affairs introduced new students to University life, academic norms and community norms to resources and support services. Students had already been a part of their respective departmental Induction program where they were introduced to the academic rules, regulations, lectures, faculties and teaching pedagogy of their department. Orientation program was a ceremonial and traditional introduction of the fresher’s to the protocols, vision & mission, curricular and co-curricular activities of the University.
He highlighted the key points that include infrastructure, centralized facilities, JUNO and AARAMBH and AAROHAN. He also mentioned that University takes every opportunity to organize adjunct lectures, hands on workshops. He motivated students with the major achievements of the University. He also shared the activity calendar of AARAMBH and AAROHAN and Student Categorization.
DOSA (Mr. Ashish Parikh):-
The Dean of Student Affairs provides university norms regarding discipline, Fee deposited timeline, hostel facilities, and Bus facilities, and also provided information regarding the disciplinary action against the students. students have to be in discipline and follow the norms of the university.
He was also aware of students regarding the ragging in the university. Mr. Parikh mentioned that Mandsaur University is ragging-free, If any in-disciplinary activity happens then the university has a right to take action against the student, Who is involved in such activity.
Training & Placement officer (Dr. Dinesh Yadav )
He presented the placement data from previous years. Dr. Yadav also told students how to build a “LinkedIn profile” and How it is beneficial for students to get a job and the future of the job seeker. He also explains the work of the TPO department regarding the training of the students. He shared the training schedule of the TPO department.
MU Activity (Dr. Lokeshwar Singh Jodhana)
He shared the cultural activity calendar of the University, He also emphasizes activity participation and explains how it helps to build the personality and boost the confidence level of the students. Dr. Jodhana also provided a list of the activities that happen on different occasions in the University like Maharas, Rang-Barse, Annual function, and many more…
He motivated the students to participate in the activity and portray their skills and enjoy the activities.
Controller of Examination (Mr. Manish Verma):-
Mr. Verma Highlight the key points of the academic and department, Like Scheme, Examination pattern, Paper Pattern, and result declaration, also provided information regarding the regulatory bodies of different faculties.
He mentioned the backlog system and the revaluation process of the answer book. He shared the academic calendar for timeline of the academic activities. Mr. Verma also emphasis on the examination form timeline and he also shared the examination fee structure for Diploma, UG, & PG courses.
Dean Administration (Col. Anand Kumar):-
Col. Anand Introduce himself to the first-year students. He told to the students what his role in the University and he also mentioned how students are good learners. Col. Anand told the key to success is discipline. He also explains how your attire is important in the corporate sector After all your attire is the first impression and students’ attire should be neat & clean. He also emphasizes the regularity of the classes for the students.
A total of 688 students participated in the Six-day orientation session. The orientation program is designed to support new students as they begin their journey from school life to University life and makes them aware of the ultimate vision of Mandsaur University to make them futures ready.
