Brief description / remarks:
Practical knowledge is much important with theoretical knowledge by which an Engineer becomes complete engineer after develop and apply engineering skills. Civil Engineering Department of Mandsaur University, Mandsaur had organized a Model Exhibition on 19th october 2022. Total 29 students have participated in the event .
The purpose of this Model Exhibition was To prepare students’ for life-long learning. And to help students in enhancing their technical skills with proper applications . As per prior instructions given to the students, they have made the models accordingly. Most of the models are working models while a few are innovative ones.
Dr R.C. Verma (Director of Agriculture ) and Mr. Vishal Agrawal (TPO) acted as a Judge by interacting with all the team members who have presented their models in the event. Also addressed the students about the skills and importance of the event. They appreciated the hard work of civil Engineering Students.
The exhibition was concluded with the distribution of trophy to the top two models [i.e., B.tech II year (Hydraulic Bridge) & B.tech III year (R.C.C. structure)] and certificates & prizes to all the participants .
Outcome :
The main reason behind organising such exhibitions is to provide a platform to students where they can implement the various theories/methods through various projects/models. In other words, a model exhibition is a platform where students can showcase how much they have understood the different concepts of civil engineering through their projects/models. It helped them to build the ability for teamwork and cooperation among students.
