Maharaas 2019
Mandsaur University celebrated its annual garba fest “Maharaas 2019” on Saturday 12th October 2019 with great vibrancy and zest. Shri Narendra Nahata, Hon’ble Chancellor, Mandsaur University, was the esteemed Chief Guest of the event Among other dignitaries present were, Executive Chairman Mr. Rahul Nahata, Dr. Shailendra Sharma (Vice Chancellor) Prof. Ashish Parikh (Registrar), Dr. Lokeshver Singh Jodhana (MU Centralized Activity Head).
The programme commenced with bouquet presentation to the jury members and guest. Mrs. Reeta Parikh (Secretary of Lioness club) and Mrs. Ratnaprabha Ranawat (Principal – Shri Dalauda Public School) were present and judged the Super 06 round of garba competition. Maharaas 2019 was divided into 04 segments – in first phase Super 06 different teams belongs to different departments performed on garba tracks. Later on second phase was open for free style garba dance. More than 4000 audiences enjoyed all the segments. Third phase was Maharaas circle.
Winner of this Super 06 round was pharmacy department and Computer Science Engineering department was declared as first runner up. During free style garba dance, various awards like Mr. & Miss Maharaas – 2019, Best Dress up (Mail & Female in various categories, i.e. teaching, non-teaching and students), Mr. & Miss Enthusiast and Couple of the Evening were announced. During the program, cake cutting ceremony was organized for the executive chairman of Mandsaur University Shri Rahul Nahata. Garba night was ended with the awards and felicitation ceremony. Anchors of the night were Mr. Mohit Rathore with 03 MU students named kapil Sharma, SUman Gurjar and Radha Sharma. The whole event was coordinated by IBC team members (Mr. Avinash Vikram, Mrs. Mudita Dave Nagar and Ms. Tanushree Shrivastava).
