Brief description/ Remarks: 

The Mandsaur University has live telecast and virtually participated in the Madhya Pradesh Youth Mahapanchayat Program held on 23.03.2023 at Motilal Nehru Stadium, Bhopal (M.P.). In the beginning of program, the young achievers in different field of M.P. have shared their success story. During this program, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, paid homage to Amar Shaheed Sardar Bhagat Singh Ji, Sukhdev Ji and Rajguru Ji in view of Shaheed Diwas. Thereafter, he honored the Young achievers of M.P. and Launched “Youth Policy” for M.P. youth welfare. He briefed about different aspects like Chief Minister’s Youth Skill Earning Scheme, Global skill park development, Student Innovation Fund, Vivekananda youth resource centre, separate budget for youth, one time exam fee etc. under Youth Policy. During the live session, more than 200 students of Mandsaur university were present consists of beneficiaries of government scholarship schemes, MU scholarship scheme and young achievers. During the program, Brig. (Dr.) Bharat Singh Rawat, Vice Chancellor, Mandsaur University also addressed the students of Mandsaur University and motivated to achieve success like the young achiever of Madhya Pradesh. He encouraged students to think smartly, set high goals and put continuous effort to achieve it. The live telecast program was coordinated by Dr. Shekhar Jain, Director NSS and Ms. Teena Yadav, Secretary NSS under the Social Awareness & Environment Sustenance Club (NSS Unit) at Mandsaur University. Faculty coordinators from different departments were also present in the live session.

Outcome:

Students get motivated through the success stories of young achievers of Madhya Pradesh. They witnessed the launching of new Youth Policy and enriched about different initiatives of Madhya Pradesh Government under the policy for the welfare of MP youth. Participation in this event help students to apply for the different welfare policies initiated exclusively for MP youth.
