Brief description / remarks:IPR Cell, Mandsaur University had organized webinar entitled “KNOW YOUR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS AND PROTECT THEM” for UG, PG students, Research scholars & faculty members of Mandsaur university on 25 February 2022. The aim of the webinar was to provide awareness among students about intellectual property rights. A total 616 candidates registered in the webinar. Dr. Bharat Singh Rawat, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Mandsaur University, Mandsaur (M.P.)                                                        deliver a welcome address and highlighted the importance of intellectual property right and motivates the UG, PG students, Research scholars & faculty members of Mandsaur university. The key note speaker of the event, Mr. Arpit Jain, Examiner of Patents & Design, Patent Office, Mumbai, DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt of India delivered the webinar on IPR Rights including Patents, Copyrights, Trademarks, Tradesecrets etc. He also explained abouts importance and how to filed the IPR rights. The event was successfully coordinated by the Prof. (Dr.) Arunava Das, Dean & Head, Faculty of Life Sciences & Coordinator IPR Cell. Warm thanks was conveyed to Hon’ble VC sir, key note speaker, all departmental coordinators for organizing and smooth conduction event for our students in Mandsaur University.

Outcome: This webinar was provided a detail understanding of intellectual property rights. Participants also got the knowledge about various types of IPR, filling an IPR with relevant case studies. This webinar enriched and motivated the students and faculty members to convert their research into intellectual properties rights. Key note speaker satisfactorily answered all the queries raised by students.
