Guest Lecture session on Transmissions Lines Systems

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized a Guest Lecture session on “Transmissions Lines Systems”for B.Tech. second year and third year students on 01-02 March 2019 by Dr. N.P. Patidar (Professor, MANIT Bhopal).Dr. Patidar has covered syllabus topics including Transmission Line Components & under Ground Cabling, Transmission Systems & Performance of Transmission Line. Power flow studies: Formulation of static power flow equations and solutions is using Gauss-Seidel, Newton Raphson and FDLF methods; He also discussed Economic operation of power system- Economic dispatch, Emission dispatch, line loss, ITL, economic dispatch using lagrangian multiplier method.Students were able to understand the new techniques to solve the Power flow studies and terminologies of economic dispatch of power systems and its applications. The workshop was organized by Prof. Rakesh Patidar and students were highly satisfied with the lecture series.
