Guest Lecture on “New Era of Life Sciences”

Department of Life Science, Mandsaur University has organized a Guest Lecture on “New Era of Life Sciences: Challenges and Opportunities” on 08 November 2017 by Dr. Harish Vyas, Ambassador Professor of Botany, Ujjain Division.  He has completed his Post-Doctoral Research at University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada. He is expertise in Bioremediation, Environmental Science, Conservational Science, and Mathematical Modeling with more than 20 years of teaching experience.

 In his lecture, Dr. Harish Vyas discussed the modern aspects of ‘Life Sciences’ in a very simple manner by associating it with the examples from daily life. He also emphasized on fundamental knowledge of Science as a subject, which serves as a lacuna. He focused on pioneering research ideas which renovate challenges into opportunities & entrepreneurship. Around fifty students attended the lecture & they were greatly encouraged by knowing the wide scope of job opportunities.
