Brief description / remarks:Faculty of Life Sciences had organized a Guest Lecture on “Job opportunities in Pharmaceutical sector” under the banner ‘Leader of the Week’ on 22.04.2022. The speaker of the event was Mr. Abhishek Dixit, Senior Research Scientist / Team leader, Jubilant drug discovery, Yashwantpur, Banglore, India. The main objective of the program was to make students to aware about the job opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector.  Prof. (Dr.) Arunava Das, Dean and Head, Faculty of Life Sciences welcomed the guest. During the lecture Mr. Abhishek Dixit thoroughly discussed about the carrier prospective, skill required and ideal qualities of employee required to start carrier in the pharmaceutical industries. Dr. Ashish Warghane, Associate Professor, Faculty of Life Sciences coordinated the event and proposed the vote of thanks.    

Outcome: The students learned about the carrier prospective and skill required to start carrier in the pharmaceutical sector. They found the session very informative, motivational and knowledgeable.
