Extempore (Fashion and Future)
Department of Fashion Design conducted an activity “Extempore (Fashion and Future)” on 15/1/2022 i.e on Tuesday for the students of 1st & 3rd year. In extempore the speech is intended to reveal a competitor’s ability to develop a point of view on a general topic and to deliver an impromptu speech within limited preparation time. Total 18 students were participated in this activity and 7 minutes had been given to each participant to speak extempore on the topic who picked up by him or her. Objective behind this extempore is to increase their Confidence leveland also help overcome their stage fear and public speaking. In this activity, Ms. Shalini Pandey , Assistant Professor, Fashion Design Department, given the topic to students which is related to fashion and future. All participants were activity involved in this on-the-spot event. It was very interesting and students enjoyed this activity. Students were understood the ‘why communication skills and time management is important’ by this activity. Through this activity, increased the self confidence and they also analyzed their issues on the spot. And Improved the logical and analytical thinking of students. It was the excellent training exercise for future leaders. This extempore was conducted on the Google meet from 11:00 am on Tuesday.
