Expert Talk On Power Systems And Its Applications

Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering had organized a Expert Talk on “Power Systems and its Applications” on 13 April 2018 by Dr. N. P. Patidar (Associate Professor at MANIT, Former Professor in Electrical Engineering, at NITTTR Bhopal) for BE second, third and final year students. Dr. Patidar has wide research interest in Power System Security Analysis, Smart Grid in Artificial Intelligence in Power Systems, Transmission Pricing, with 20+ years of experience.
Session Detail: Dr. Patidar has covered various topics including Smart Grid in Artificial Intelligence in Power Systems, Power flow studies, MW Frequency control, MVAR Voltage control Problem, Power System Stability as well as Problems associated with modern interconnected power Systems. He also discussed the smart IED that are currently installing in industries for transmission and distribution systems for electric power. The session was organized by Prof. Rakesh Patidar (co-coordinator EEE department).
