Brief description / remarks:

     Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Mandsaur University has organized an expert lecture on “Techniques & Challenges in Field Reporting” and to share his expertise Mr. Arun Tripathi (Senior Journalist, India) was there as a Trainer. During this session, the students learned about the basics of TV/News reporting, challenges in the field, and the process of news gathering.

 
During this session, Mr. Tripathi said “Journalism is not about delivering the news only, a journalist is one who is doing research in the field to get the information. Ground reporting is the base of journalism and during that, you need to be ready to face physical, mental, and economical challenges.

Outcome:

During this session, the students got aware of the Reporting Technique, challenges during field reporting and actual scenarios of the media industry, etc.
