Brief description/ Remarks: Department of Library and Information Science has organized an expert lecture on About Library Science & Information Technology, one of the most important criteria to be focused before doing Information Technology for the Library Science. First of all, Dr. Ravindra Kumar, HOD, Library and Information Science, welcomed the guest and Dr. A. Pal gave a brief introduction of Prof. M.P Singh to everyone present over there. Prof. M.P Singh is working as a Prof. Department of Library and Information Science, BBAU, (Central University), Lucknow, U.P and he also member of various committees an INFLIBNET and he also member of various Association in National & International Level. Prof. Singh visited 2 more time out of country library science professional expert. During the lecture, Prof. M.P Singh shared his views about the value of Library Science blueprint. He also enlightened audience about the difference and practical aspects of basic and Information Technology. Students and Faculties raised queries during the interactive session which was resolved by expert. In conclusive remark, Dr. Ravindra Kumar, HOD, Library and Information Science expressed vote of thanks to the guest and all the attendees of the session.
Outcome: Such type of lectures from about library experts helps in the enhancement of information technology criteria development experience. Information Technology is one of the prior work to be done while support any library services, He also talk about the carrier in library & Information Science Through the lecture attendees learned a lot about the application based about library. The talk was interactive, energetic & insightful.
