Change starts with action – World environment day is not just a celebration but also a reminder to take best care of our surroundings. Students spread awareness among the people on keeping our environment clean and free from pollution and work towards its protection.
On the -World Environment Day which is celebrated Universally on June- 5, 2022, worldwide aim to spread awareness on how to preserve and enhance our environment. The Faculty of Allied Sciences and Agriculture Sciences, Mandsaur University jointly celebrated the world environment day on June 5th and 6th 2022, with the theme “Save Tree – Save Earth” . It was a two days celebration, wherein on the first day June 5 – Sunday, more than 100 students along with the members of The Faculty of Allied Sciences and Agriculture Sciences, Mandsaur University took part in the Shivana Cleaning Campaign and Cleaned the premises of the Pashu Pati Nath Temple, Mandsaur.
On the second day June 6 -2022, students organized an Environment Awareness rally inside the campus by raising the slogan to “Save Tree – Save Earth”. A good number of students took part in the rally, which is followed by a skit performance by B. Tech- Computer Science – II Semester students on Environment. Our honourable Vice-Chancellor – Brigadier Dr. Bharat Singh Rawat was a part of celebration and he addressed the students on protecting the Environment. Tree plantation was done by dignitaries and vote of thanks was proposed by Dr Sanjay Singh, Head of Department, Department of Agriculture Sciences, Mandsaur University, Mandsaur M.P.

Outcome: The Environment day celebration acted as an eye opener for our budding learner on how to save the environment and sustained nature for our overall well-being. Students enjoyed a lot and they showed enthusiasm towards organizing many more similar events in the near future.
