Brief description / remarks:The Faculty of Life Sciences, Mandsaur University had organized Effective personality development workshop for the UG and PG III Semester students from 1 December to 11 December 2021. The workshop will aim at providing hands on training and induction on soft skills, professional etiquettes, grooming, gender sensitivity, goal setting, self-motivation and leadership qualities. Prof. (Dr.) Arunava Das, Dean and Head of Faculty of Life Sciences formally welcomed and introduced the guest to the participants. During the lecture Dr. Reshmi Deb Choudhury Das emphasized the various aspects of personality development and teach participants to work with various professionals, to enhance their communication skills and interpersonal skills in order to function in professional and social settings effectively. The event concluded successfully with a vote of thanks by Dr. Mohammad Irfan Ali, Faculty of Life Sciences.
Outcome: This Guest lecture provided a detailed knowledge to enrich the academic language skills for academic writing and presentations; to understand effective planning for setting goals and achieving both personal and professional goals. At the end the guest speaker answered all the questions raised by the participants. The students found the workshop very interested and informative.
