Brief description/remarks:

The Faculty of Agriculture Sciences, Mandsaur University, Mandsaur  organised a lecture on the occasion of World Water Day. The event was hosted by Dr. Sneha Deshmukh (Assistant Professor, Faculty of Agriculture Sciences). She welcomed the participants with gratefulness. After that, she gave an introduction on the world water day celebration. The theme for this year’s world water day is “Accelerating the change to solve water and sanitation crises” which emphasizes the necessity of taking action to address the global water crisis. Dr. D. B. Tyagi highlighted the importance of water conservation. Mr. Dayashankar Singh gave a detailed water consumption pattern during the event.  The lecture was attended by 35 participants. Students remarked that the session was very informative and useful to enhance their knowledge. At the end offered a formal vote of thanks to the participants.

• Participants got acquainted with the necessity of water conservation
