Bollywood Bash

Mandsaur University celebrated its Grand Annual Day “Bollywood Bash” on Saturday, 24th March 2018 amidst great zest, vibrancy and elation. Shri Narendra Nahata, Hon’ble Chancellor, Mandsaur University, was the esteemed Chief Guest. Among other dignitaries present were, Executive Chairman Mr.Rahul Nahata, Dr.Shailendra Sharma (Vice Chancellor), Prof. Ashish Parikh (Registrar), Mr. Divyansh Verma and Mrs. Kanupriya Joshi honored us by their gracious presence in this event. Various respective members, press, parents and students were also present.

Bollywood Bash is based on a theme of reel and real life iconic jodi’s of bollywood stars like (Amitabh-Jaya, Rishi – Nitu Kapoor, Rajkapoor-Nargis, Shahrukh-Kajol etc). The program started with Ganesh Vandana with Shiv Stuti depicted with Marathi dance and aardhnareshwar form of kathak. Thereafter, the duet, solo song and dance competition commenced where student performed on various Bollywood peppy, foot tapping numbers.

The Vote of thanks was proposed by Prof. Avinash Vikram (HOD, DBMC). The smart anchors of the Cultural Programme were Mr. Kapil, Ms. Sakina, Mr. Junaid, Ms. Sakshi, Mr. Pulkit, Ms. Aarushi, Ms. Nitisha, Mr. Suraj, Ms. Kanchan & Ms. Avashi. First position in dance competition secured by Shahrukh & Kajol Jodi, runner up was Hrithik, Katerina & Ashwariya Jodi. In Solo song winner is Himanzu Kalitha and duet song winner is Lavlesh and Divisha Jain. Special performance award given to Mona Sharma (for live painting), B.P.Ed. Students group & South students dance group.

Dr. Lokeshver Singh Jodhana (HOD, Tourism & Chief Coordinator of Spandan 2018), IBC Members – Prof. Avinash Vikram, Prof. Anuja Surana, Prof. Urvashi Anand, Prof. Mudita Nagar, Prof. Ruben Shah & Prof. Rahul Trivedi congratulated all coordinators for such an excellent show. Team of Student’s coordinator (Mr. Aman Jain, Mr. Gunik Maliwal, Mr. Jaineet, Mr. Yash, Mr. Ali Khan, Mr. Navneet, Mr. Junaid, Mr. Fardeen, Mr. Vinit, Mr. Lakshit, Ms. Nishita, Mr. Akash, Ms. Pallavi, Ms. Mona, and Ms. Kamakshi) was worked shoulder to shoulder for the successful completion of Spandan 2018.
