Brief description / remarks:Faculty of Agriculture Sciences had organized the Project Exhibition of RAWE and ELP which is the student industry ready program of B. Sc (Hons.) Agriculture on December 13th 2021. The RAWE is a Rural Agriculture Work Experience in which students has to undergo in his/her 7th semester. Students are attached with Farmers, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Agriculture research station and Agro industries. In 8th semester students has to opt for Experiential learning Program which is bifurcated in 9 different modules. In each module students gets to learn the hands-on experience which helps them to develop their skills in Agriculture sciences. All the activities carried out in past two years under RAWE and ELP program were presented in the form of Posters, models and reports etc. The event was started with welcome to the chief guest Brig. (Dr.) Bharat Singh Rawat (Vice Chancellor), Dr. Shailendra Sharma (Dean, Academic Affairs) and Col. Anand Kumar (Dean Administration) by HOD Dr. Sanjay Singh, Faculty of Agriculture Sciences. Brief introduction of RAWE And ELP was given by Mr. Prashant Sinoriya (Asst. Prof), Coordinator RAWE and ELP and all the activities conducted under different modules i.e. Seed production technology, Mushroom cultivation, Food processing technology, Commercial horticulture, Production of biofertilizer and Biocontrol agents, Organic pest management and Organic farming were presented by Dr. Sheshnath Mishra (Asst. Prof.), Mr. Shahanwaw Mansuri (M.Sc. Agronomy Student), Ms. Shushmita Mandal (Asst. Prof.), Dr. Mainu Hazarika (Asst. Prof.), Mr. Hemant Kumar Verma (Asst. Prof.), Mr. Tushar Nakade (asst. Prof.), Mr. Rahul Patidar (Asst. Prof.), respectively to the dignitaries. Along with this, some students created herbarium sheets and extension folders and leaflets were also displayed. At the end Brig. (Dr.) Bharat Singh Rawat (Vice Chancellor) addressed the faculty members and conveyed his words of appreciation for all the efforts taken up by faculty members and students. All the dignitaries encouraged faculty members for working with more innovative projects in future and for getting more and more publications as well along with their valuable guidance. The overall project exhibition was coordinated by Dr. Vaishali Wankhade(Assistant Professor), Dr. Syed Afrayeem(Assistant Professor) and Ms. Sushmita Mandal(Assistant Professor) with joint support of all the faculty members. The Project exhibition was concluded by Dr. Sanjay Singh HOD Agriculture, with vote of thanks to the dignitaries.
