Mechanical engineering at Mandsaur University has come up with a complete revision, of course curriculum; we introduced the future ready subjects into the curriculum such as Robotics & Automation and Mathematical modeling for problem solving, Renewable Energy etc.
We are also coming up with more practical & industry connected teaching pedagogy such as project based learning, Experimental Learning etc.
We at the department have all facilities which require in understanding of core areas including mechanics, dynamics, thermodynamics, materials science, structural analysis, and electricity. In addition to these core principles, mechanical engineers use tools such as computer-aided design (CAD), computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), and product lifecycle management to design and analyze manufacturing plants, industrial equipment and machinery, heating and cooling systems, transport systems, aircraft, watercraft, robotics, medical devices, weapons, and others. Education is evolving at a faster pace than any other period in recent history. The curriculum is aligned as per the industry’s requirement to meet tomorrow’s challenges for the budding engineers and technocrats. Our dedicated team of faculty members are skilled to solve tough problems, collaborate effectively, and express ideas in innovative ways. Various MoUs have been established with the industry. Our curriculum focuses on practical exposure, industry-aligned syllabus, problem-solving, and coding. Our curriculum is designed to prepare students to face future prospects.
The Faculty of Engineering and Technology comprises of four departments – Computer science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering. Each department offers undergraduate, postgraduate & Ph.D. programs and is also running different domain-specific specialized programs to fulfill the requirements of skilled professionals as per market demand.
Our Teaching Learning Process includes activity based learning, workshops, certification courses from industry leading certification authorities. We use Google classroom for the learning management system. In Google Classroom, teachers have uploaded more than 1000 videos and study materials for the students.
Every department has identified their Thrust areas like Artificial Intelligence, IOT, Electric Vehicle, Structure and Robotics and Automation. We conduct various activities throughout the year aligned with the thrust area.
Training and Placement Cell and faculty members from academics guide our students to choose their career as per their aspirations. More than 80 companies visit our campus every year from various sectors to recruit our industry-ready students

We have well equipped Fluid Mechanics Lab, which is used for the demonstration fluid machineries like Pelton turbine, Francis turbine, Centrifugal pump setup, Bernoulli’s apparatus etc. and also to perform practical’s on it
We have well equipped Refrigeration and Air conditioning lab, which having window AC test rig, Refrigeration and Air conditioning test rig, Vapour absorption test rig, etc for the demonstration and practical performance for students
We have well equipped & furnished Central Workshop, which is used for the demonstration and practical performance on lathe machine, milling machine, casting, shaper machine, drilling machine, power hacksaw, different types of welding etc. We have designed it in such a way that students get hands on training on all these machineries and processes
We have well equipped Basic Mechanical engineering lab, which having different model of petrol and diesel engine, 2 stroke and 4 stroke engine, different types of boilers etc in this lab students gets the concept behind the working of these machineries.
We have well equipped I.C. Engine lab, in which we having different working engines and their components like petrol engine, diesel engine, steering mechanism of 4 wheelers, braking mechanism of 4 wheelers, suspension system of 4 wheelers etc
We have modern 3D printer which can print any 3 Dimensional real object of plastic only we have to design the object in software and feed to 3D printer, with the help of 3D printer students learn to design the objects and also prepare the objects on 3D printer like screw, pen stand, gears etc.
